So I got tired of the decorations hanging in the hallway and living room and decided that after 5 years, it was time for some NEW things! :) So I took a trip to my all-time favorite store to visit when I'm in the mood to decorate...
Audrey's Attic! I came out with only 2 things (which is probably a record for me), but I love them and finally got around to hanging them up on the walls tonight. Here's the new look!
I'm not particularly keen on the second picture...I like the "home" but the swag just doesn't quite look right. I'll have to continue working with that and see if I can get it adjusted to look homey and cute.
In other news, just last week I accomplished something that I never EVER thought I would do! I ran my very first 5K! I was inspired to complete the
Couch-2-5K program by a good friend who had completed the program and fell in love with running. With as stressful as my life has been lately, I thought it would be a good tool to use to get me out of the house and get a little fresh air a few times a week. I enjoyed the challenge of completing the program and found that running is a little bit enjoyable...especially if you have some great motivational tunes to encourage you to keep going!
My cousin, Michele, and I decided we would enter ourselves in a 5K the first weekend in November. We both ran the Rich Dalessandro Memorial Turkey 5K in Dalton on a freezing cold morning in November. But the sun was shining and we were both ready to roll! I finished in 37:12 and Michele finished in 40:14. We had a blast and are already looking forward to our next race together! :)

I will leave you with one of the most adorable videos I think I've ever seen in my life. This was taken at the Fall Fun Fest put on by our church. One fairy princess, one princess dressed like Dorothy, and one adorable cowboy were jamming to the music...makes me smile every time! I LOVE these kids!!! :)
Great post!! Love the new decor. Super cute. Congrats on your run, too. The kiddos are adorable. The song they are dancing to would be a good running song.
