Elmo!

Whenever my sweet nephew, Luke, sees Elmo his face lights up!  So it's only fitting that the theme for his first birthday party is, of course, ELMO!!  Since I am in love with my cricut, I agreed to do the invitations for his party.  Did you know that cricut makes an Elmo cartridge?!?!  I couldn't believe my luck when I jumped on Amazon and found the Elmo Party Cartridge. I ordered it right away and started creating the moment it was delivered to my doorstep.  :)  Happy First Birthday, Luke!!  :)

Dave Ramsey Envelopes

A little over a year ago, I went through Financial Peace University at our church.  One of the main things that this program teaches is to change over your household to a cash-only system.  Out with the credit cards.  In with cold hard cash.  :)  This was quite the opposite of how I had been running my household, but wanting to give the cash-only system a chance, I jumped on board.  I started by using the envelopes that our kit provided.  They got the job done, but they weren't very pretty.  Then, a friend of mine sent me a link to this fabulous website where a creative young lady came up with a way to make the cash-only system a little easier on the eye.  I fell in love with her creations and have been making my own versions of cute Dave Ramsey envelopes ever since.  I got bored with the first set that I made for myself and decided I'd update them a little bit.  I found this ADORABLE paper at Archiver's and got to work.  Here are some pictures of just a few of the envelo
